OUR SCHOOL LOGO
The Roseworth Primary School Logo was developed during the amalgamation of Montrose and Hainsworth Primary School in 2008. A new school identity was being forged and with that came the need for a symbol with which to associate our new school. Perth artist Jane McKay created the design with the understanding that the logo would always have a bit of mystery about its meaning.
Roseworth Primary School is a complex and diverse school and reaches out to partners and community to enhance the educational and social experiences for our students and families. The logo is smart and sleek in its design and when viewed from different perspectives can have many meanings and connotations.
Here are some of the ideas that have been associated with our logo:
These are just a few of the interpretations of just what our logo means. The most important view of course is yours - what does it mean to you?
The school’s chosen uniform colours of blue, white and aqua are easily identified in the logo and signify a sense of calmness, respect and caring. Our students wear their uniforms with pride and the Roseworth logo is now synonymous with a school that is renowned for its strong relationships with its school community. An innovative and caring school sits behind this mysterious logo.
More recently the logos of our school partners, Edith Cowan University, The Smith Family and the Fogarty Foundation sit alongside our school logo to signify the collaborative nature of our partnerships.
